Urban Design

Brady Shipman Martin provides urban design and masterplanning consultancy on a wide range of project types and sizes. By combining the collective in-house disciplines of landscape architecture, planning, architecture and 3D visualisation, the Practice is well placed to consider all aspects of even the most challenging sites and briefs. 

Commissions have included all types and scales of project, including large scale new towns with new road and rail infrastructure on greenfield sites, port re-generation developments, smaller scale urban infill developments, as well as design guidelines and public realm strategies.

Urban design commissions are typically but not exclusively for private sector clients, and often involve substantial consultation with local authorities and government agencies.

Brady Shipman Martin is generally engaged directly by the client, and works in advance of, or in parallel with, architectural, engineering and other consultants.
